Product Description
Adva-co is a long-stretch high compression bandage designed to provide 40mm Hg sub-bandage pressure at the ankle and 20mm Hg at the knee (graduated compression). Adva-co is used with a sub-bandage wadding layer (e.g. Advasoft) making it a cost effective treatment for the management of venous insufficiency.

Use
The bandage has two rectangular pressure indicators to help ensure the correct pressure is achieved. A rectangle elongated to a square indicates the correct pressure. Measuring the leg at the ankle: Use the small rectangle for ankles of 18-26cm circumference. First apply a sub bandage wadding and then starting at the foot apply Adva-co with a 50% overlap (utilising centre line) in a spiral motion and extend the bandage using the correct rectangle for the ankle circumference. Use in conjunction with an absorbent dressing and/or primary wound contact layer. For comfort and distribution of pressure use appropriate under padding. Secure bandage with Advaflex tabs (supplied).
