Semi-permeable adherent film dressing with Silfix soft silicone

Product Description
Episil is an atraumatic polyurethane film dressing with Silfix soft silicone adherence. It is designed to protect the wound whilst minimising the pain and trauma associated with dressing change. The soft silicone will adhere to surrounding dry skin but not to a wet wound. The clear film facilitates examination of the wound whilst exhibiting the highest moisture vapour transfer rate of any dressings. The wound bed is visible allowing observation thereby allowing optimisation of dressing change frequency.

Use
Remove the clear plastic liners and place directly over a wound or primary contact dressing ensuring an overlap around the wound edges of at least 2cm.

Indications
