Product Description
Advaflex is a non-adhesive system for the simple and secure fixation of bandages. The product consists of individual micro-hook tabs supplied on a reel. The individual tabs can be easily separated from each other and applied to a wide range of bandages to secure the ends. Advaflex provides practitioners with a means of securing or re-tensioning a wide range of bandages quickly and effectively without the need for additional or replacement fixation products. The micro-hooks are completely safe and will not prick the fingers of practitioners who may otherwise use pins or the sharp grips supplied with some bandages. This resolves any issues in respect of contamination or infection control that may be associated with sharp products. Due to Advaflex being non-adhesive the system does not have the problem associated with adhesive tapes which can dry out, (especially in warm conditions) and lose their adhesive property. Therefore the Advaflex system can potentially reduce the time and cost associated with the application of bandages. Advaflex may not be suitable for some bandages particularly those with a smooth surface, tightly woven bandages, coated bandages or orthopaedic wadding bandages. Prior to use Advancis recommend the Advaflex grip quality for a particular bandage is checked.

Use
Advaflex is available in boxes of 200 on a reel, simply snap the joining strip between each individual Advaflex tab to separate from the reel and apply to the bandage.
