Product Description
Eclypse Adherent Sacral is a super-absorbent, wound exudate management dressing designed by experts to contour to the sacral area. The dressing combines a Silfix® soft silicone wound contact layer for convenient gentle adherence, a rapid wicking layer, a highly absorbent CrystaLock layer, a sub-backing layer for even distribution of exudate and a non-strikethrough backing to prevent leakage.
Eclypse Adherent Sacral will only adhere to dry skin surrounding the wound and can be easily lifted for adjustment without losing its adherent properties.
Instructions for Use
- Ensure the wound has been cleaned
- Gently dry the surrounding skin
- Remove from packaging
- Place Eclypse Adherent Sacral white face down with the beige non-strikethrough backing facing up
- Allow a minimum of a 2cm border overlap around the wound area
- Eclypse Adherent Sacral can be used under compression therapy
- Store at room temperature, out of direct sunlight and keep dry
- Do not cut Eclypse Adherent Sacral
Frequency of change
Wear time will depend on the level of exudate but Eclypse Adherent Sacral can be left in place for up to seven days
