Episil

Silicone film dressing
Episil is a polyurethane film dressing with Silfix soft silicone contact layer, designed to protect the wound whilst minimising the pain and trauma associated with dressing change. The soft silicone adheres to surrounding dry surrounding skin but not to a moist wound.
The dressing is transparent, allowing observation of the wound site or primary dressing which minimises dressing change frequency. Episil has a very high moisture vapour transfer rate.

Use
Remove the clear plastic liners and place directly over a wound or primary contact dressing ensuring an overlap of around 2cm. Episil can be left in place for up to 7 days.
